The 2024 World Sustainable Built Environment Conference (WSBE24) is now a virtual conference scheduled on 12-14 June 2024. The in-person (F2F) Montreal event is no more*.
The SBE Partners and Permanent Co-hosts (iiSBE, CIB, FIDIC and UNEP) have taken over the organisation and running of WSBE24 and appointed two very experienced and recognised leaders in the field to lead this effort: Prof Greg Foliente (The University of Melbourne, Australia) and Prof Thomas Lützkendorf (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany).
All existing submitted abstracts will be considered automatically and those submitters will hear directly from the new organisers. Additional submissions are welcome and they can be submitted until 31 July 2023. *Note: The cancellation of the WSBE23/24 Montreal in-person (F2F) event was triggered by numerous factors and complex issues that the original organisers could not mitigate nor resolve over a period of time. The SBE Partners and Permanent Co-hosts accepted the Montreal team’s cancellation of the event and committed to organise and plan a virtual WSBE24 instead.
